Podcast: EP 19 The Simple Thing That Can Change Everything with Seb Terry

I met today’s guest, an amazing human named Seb, at a dance class in LA. It turns out he is a super inspiring entrepreneur with a huge passion for helping people. I knew I had to have him on the podcast to talk about how he has answered the call in a big way.

In 2009, at the ripe-old age of 27, Sebastian realised that like most people, he had not achieved anything on his subconscious list. The death of a close friend combined with a naturally abstract view on life sparked a moment of clarity.

“If I was to die today, could I look back at my life and be happy at how I’d lived?”

The answer was NO, and so Sebastian decided to put pen to paper and create a list of 100 Things. His goal, to find happiness. Armed with this piece of paper, a backpack and next to no money, Sebastian dropped everything in his life and boarded a plane, hopeful that with the right mindset, anything would be possible, including true fulfillment.

Now 10 years and counting, Sebastian has ticked off 72 items, has raised over $350,000 for various charities (including Camp Quality, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Alzheimer's Australia) and has personally helped thousands of people start and achieve their own lists.

This conversation is all about the heart, taking a big leap, and not having it all figured out before you answer the call.

Our dreams and goals are just a vehicle to figure out who we are.
